    StreetOfMir2 [Crystal] Discussion

I don't know what to tell you... there is literally only 3 or 4 NPC's that say something. (Yes it's backward)

    StreetOfMir2 [Crystal] Discussion

Decided to have a look. Don't really see a point in the leveling caves. Can't do anything for the first couple of hours beside them. Basically just AFK level with pets till 38 then CHM to 70(?), mobs don't even hit back, extremely boring. Might as well save people the time and start at level...

It's always been in and working. When you are building objects that have no discernible pattern, back is more important that forward :) 1565354171 This is already achievable through the NPC functions, mainly use of Save/Load values & flags. I used it for a few things, my player housing...

Did you even read the post? o_O

I should just remove the new type really, it's not serving any purpose other than I wanted to try it at the time. If anything it's inconvenient. Just never gotten around to doing it. All sounds good so far. Tile cutter would be a nice addition. Might start seeing people actually add things :)

I'll have to sort some things out tomorrow. Re-save my map in the old format so that I can try it properly. (Can't open my maps with it atm) Or maybe just start a new one. I plan on having a decent mapping session over the weekend, should give a better idea of the new feel than just testing the...

Assuming I read it correctly, Sanjian(?) has added monster scaling based on day/night cycle. So it shouldn't be too far fetched that a switch could be flicked to swap between 2 different maps based on time.

I guess the logical way forward would be to have such changes only apply to a new map type. That way there is no risk to retroactively breaking anything. As there shouldn't be anything to 'fix' in the current maps. 1565294605 I don't want to go off on a rant, we've heard it all before. The...

That's the one, yes. How the change would affect current maps, I really couldn't say. If you could limit the change to only M2 & Shanda I think we're relatively safe (The fact they have this issue would suggest they aren't being used generally). I have some middle layer objects using strips...

Nevermind I found it. The whole coastline is indeed on the front layer. Which makes no sense, and doesn't even look good in-game (weapons clip under, etc) This is the first time I've seen such a blatant issue tho. Of course, I don't spend time editing the default maps as you do, so maybe there...

I was the same, sounded great at first. then not so much the more you think about it's uses. That would be brilliant. Even better with the grasp, so you could swap just certain tiles.

Ok, that's more like it. no issue there then. I'm in two minds about it really. Adding more layers feels more like a band-aid. Sure, it has some uses, but it's far from necessary. (I could probably count on one hand the number of times it was the only solution) e.g My tree example from the...

I imagine this is something along the lines of what they used for official maps. And well, we can see how they turned out. What is your goal here? There is a reason companies shell out $ for people to do it.

I overlooked that one. As I only tested on a new 50*50 map. There is currently no key-binds(?) making zooming a pretty silly chore; Having to click through 'view>zoom +/-' every step.
