    the 1gig of ram is a bit cack and I recon it would struggle at 50 users.... Plus I think this company I spoke to before you have to pay another £30 or £40 a month for it to run SQL - I could be wrong though - if I am wrong that is brilliant for a starting server

    When looking for a host you have to take a few things in to account... How much do they charge for going over your limit? By this I mean if your host gets compramized and they use untold amounts of BW then you will be liable for the bill unless they are in a country that recognizes and has laws...

    That is for a UK based server in Acton mate, I think you can get one for just over 100 a month from same host as Ben has. To be honest unless you are going to have a huge user base you will not need a server as good as Bens. Check out http://www.flexgaming.com/

    lol, sure :) I want around 20 people to test it and all that test I would like to fill in the questionnaire. I should have maps and stuff up on Wednesday (Or if you got a OS client you can use that) The questionnaires up on Wednesday as well and then IP released Friday evening/Sat morning

    Yea, it cant be used for hosting... Still the machine is ok, not great you could build a much better PC for cheaper as has been stated. But hey you got it now so hope you enjoy it mate. If you are using it for gaming, get Crysis warhead and post up the bench marks with that all on max.

    There should be no lag issues when I host it, however it will be on my PC for that day as it is just testing. So if there are lag issues this will not happen when the server goes live as it will be hosted on a dedi either in the UK or Holland.

    have you searched your whole mirserver folder for documents containing the word SQL and changed all the right ones?
