    Wouldn't know where to start mate. This works because it was fine tuned over lots of years. Not sure how it would fair with different server type.

    Good luck dude, hope it goes well. Ignore these lot, using an external client is something we have all done for years, don't see what the issue is. When you have finished the server, create a client too, no rush.

    You can use the Oracle VM VirtualBox which does work, I am using it on my Windows 7 system and its excellent. I just can't really help with setting it up as mine just worked when I installed it all. The only thing I had to do was to click the correct network and add a virtual network cable.

    Everything should be the same as you are not changing the numbers, just resetting the database.

    Export database into excel. Sort the excel sheet by IDX. Truncate the database. Copy and paste in the values from excel to the database. Should be fine after that.

    Download this.. https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads Launch it, find a good version of XP, install it, then install Mir.. it should then launch fine (at least mine did). To create an account, you can either use the Launcher, or use the account admin - http://stingmir.no-ip.info/
