    I've never driven it with it on lol, but from my experiences it shouldn't be too bad, it will be really laggy but when it comes on it will be a beast :) I have different boost settings based on what gear I'm in so should be alright. Just need to get my spare engine built and I'll be half way...

    There all pre september 2006 so its not expensive. Saying that there never all taxed at the same time and spend most of the time in bits. I just can't wait until this pay monthly thing comes out for road tax. Anyhhooo some pics of the builds and what not. The del slow: Starting to strip it...

    I have an unhealthy obsession with cars so I have a few. I've got 2 Mitsubishi GTO's (3 Liter Twin Tubo) Jeep Grand Cherokee (4.7 V8), Audi A4 2.8 V6 quattro and a gay Honda Del Sol. My missus also convince me to buy her an S3 this weekend so I suppose that can be classed as mine too :) Dk

    Are you really going to noticed the difference between CL11 and CL10? I didn't to confuse him even more by going into this. Why do you say no point in an i7 for gaming? I'm guessing your basing this on the fact that no software really uses it to its full potential? Dk

    That is a very nice setup mate, just out interest why 4x4gig of ram? Why not 2 8 sticks? You could probably get some higher speed stuff (2400 or 2666hz) for the same price. Other than that, it all looks good. Just out of interest, where are you getting it from? I know this is all your opinion...

    Nope they're the old ones mate (Sandy Bridge) 1150 are the newest ones (Haswell Processor Boards), 1155 are the last gen ones (Ivy bridge Boards)

    1155 motherboards are for (z77) ivy bridge, 1150 motherboards are for the (z87) haswell chipset, 2011 motherboards are for the (x79) sandy bridge chips. Dk

    Get and ivy bridge chip, the haswell chips don't offer a big enough performance increase that is worth worrying about. I've currently got a i7 3770K 3.5GHz ivy bridge processor, a gtx 670 graphics card and run every game on max settings and get 50-60 fps as a minimum. Dk

    Just get an intel and be done with it. Proven 100's of times that they are better than the amd. People will argue about cost blah blah. Who cares, the intel processors always come out on top. Dk
