    Release Winamp Mir1 skin

That pic of a male with the spiky hairdo, isn't that somewhere in mir1 assets? I'd swear I've seen it somewhere, and it was that pic that convinced me it really was mir1, not by the description of it being mir1 skin, but really can't say for sure. Damn, now I am not even sure it wasn't posted...

    Release Winamp Mir1 skin

This is real weird. If you go to the archive site, the guy has made tons, maybe hundreds or even thousands of winamp skins uploaded on there and this mir1 skin was uploaded in 2019.... I think that's long before mir1 became the thing here with your Carbon edition. I find it odd that someone...

    Request Looking for a team

This talk about code security is over my head but aren't all Chinese and Asian servers generally overran by bots (every server reboot, you get lines of them marching to their positions) which looks to me like an officially sanctioned way of playing on those servers. Security issues that result...

    Mir2 warrior weapon models.

Do you know this show episode? Maybe UPKExplorer or 'Unreal Model Viewer' can export some file that could be used as printing instruction for a 3d printer? I would ask on that site where we downloaded these programs from.

    Need a new mouse

I take back that dismissal over the board of BT mice. I dusted off an older Logitech MX Laser mouse (cordless, rechargeable) and that one keeps connected. It has almost no delay if you want to use it even after long inactivity. Amazingly, it is still for sale on Amazon, kind of expensive. Maybe...

    Fun findings

It is likely the same, or similar to the banned words list from mir3d, I doubt they compile their own specifically for this particular game. Very likely it is a list other Chinese gaming companies use. As to 'dog's and elephants', Chinese are bypassing banned words with made-up ones that...

    Need a new mouse

Holy mice  I always find those side buttons too far back for comfort, I'd rather had them under my thumb and keep light touch over them all the time, so you don't have to crane thumb backwards or slide the whole hand back just to reach those buttons.

    Need a new mouse

I believe that is due to battery power saving or just power saving. BT is quite power hungry technology. The mouse drops connection after some period of inactivity and it seems there is no setting for it. Waking up BT connection means you need to press a button on the mouse and in few seconds...

    Need a new mouse

I have just this to say: if you are one of those folks, like myself, who use mouse many years, don't buy or try not to buy those ones that come with that no-slip rubberized surface!! Over the years, that rubber decomposes and becomes very sticky to the point that it has to be thrown out. Some...

Port Forwarding vs Port Triggering explained

I suspect that port forwarding done in the app open ports on the ISP servers, not on your router. The router is, most likely, hard set to accept traffic on all ports. Makes me wonder if this is going to be the future. Might be done this way so the ISP can close the ports if someone downloads...

Port Forwarding vs Port Triggering explained

I recall it now but that was like weeks or months ago, it was the case when he put his computer in DMZ, exposing it to the internet directly, and was also messing with port triggering. Was he also missing port forwarding in his router setting? How did it end up?

Port Forwarding vs Port Triggering explained

I have a PC hosting mir3d behind a newly installed modem/router that doesn't have port forwarding in its setup webpage. Instead you are supposed to download mobile app, log into your ISP account and set it up from there. But I can't even log into that webpage to begin with, and tons of pple who...

    Mir2 warrior weapon models.

OK, I was misled by thinking those swords were 'real size', like at least one meter long. Then that controller could be the size of a chair.

    Mir2 warrior weapon models.

What are those made of, plastic or some kind of light alloy? Or maybe they are real weapons, like you could chop pork ribs with them? In that orig post pic in the back, is that a chair in the shape of xbox controller? I always dreamed of a wall sized poster printout of Bichon province...

Playing Mir on a Mac help

Problem is, mir games don't have an 'installer'. And I don't think, or at least I am not sure if the late meacher's installer would count. If someone might want to give it a go, there is a guide on their forum, IMHO less confusing than the YT video tutorial.

Playing Mir on a Mac help

Did you actually use it to play mir game on a mac, if so, at least a rough guide would be helpful. Like you download Crystal M2 on a PC (since can't run client autopatch on a Mac), then transfer the server and client to Mac and point this portingkit to it?

    Games like Legend of Mir

I would second that. There is a reason why for example mir2 still exists alongside mir3 and other direct mir editions, never mind even other games. Some come closer than others but in the end, mir2 is unique.

    Discussion Ravagers MirII "Low-Med Rate"

Thx, I didn't go to check the url in the ini file, you're right. Search for mir85 shows it is some Chinese host, weird.
