I have a Nostromo but since buying my Blackwidow I don't use it. It's mechanical or nothing for me - I may pick up an Orbweaver at some point though which is mechanical.
Pro tip from reading this thread: work on your spelling & grammar, your design can be **** hot but if your website / work is full of errors people will judge you and stay away.

Sort it out, there are ample free ones and Microsoft even have their own for free!
As mentioned, run a scan. If nothing pops up reinstall the software.
How can you say they are the better of the two developers? Where's your source of this?
A big point would be that considering both of the next generation consoles (XB1 and PS4) use AMD hardware all-round, more and more games will be tailored to AMD. Like Battlefield 4 is.
A regular keyboard below the keys is usually just a rubber "mat" on top of a circuit-board. The rubber hits the contacts on the board and it registers a key.
A mechanical keyboard has individual "switches" for each key.
