    1.9 hlp

    1. In your routers configuration, you need to forward ports 3000, 7000, 7100, and 7200 to your workstations IP. 2. The errors with the scripts won't stop the server from loading. Have you tried testing the server by first changing all the IP's to 127.0.0.1 /Leo

Remote Server Access for 1.9 files?

In which case DK, you use an FTP server. I wouldn't code something like that when such applications already exist. Both WinXP and Win2003 have FTP servers in the form of IIS6 (see Add/Remove programs) @Toxick: How does he intend to limit what you are capable of through VNC? Its giving you full...

Remote Server Access for 1.9 files?

It depends what level of access you want to give. If you don't mind giving full computer access then use a VNC varient like Ultr@VNC. If you want to create a specifc user setup, with privilages, drive access rights and all that rubbish, then consider Windows 2003 Server with Terminal Services...

    Hosting offline

Yeah MrRob, An INTERNET connection is not required for an offline server. However you might appreciate a network connection of some sorts (your router) if you want to play the offline server on a different machine. Playing the server on the same machine its hosted will result in poor...

Different sections, but proggy is capable of working for both 1.5 and 1.4. Since there is no 1.4+1.5 section... stands to reason that it goes in both. /Leo

how many ppl can play of 2mb?

Remember its UPLOAD that counts; (you may have a 1mbit connection, but you may only have a 256kbit upload). 256kbit/s good for 25-30 people comfortably 512kbit/s good for 30-60 people comfortably 1mbit/s good for 60+ Also, the CPU has very little to do with how laggy a server is, it mostly...
