    Some form of "rifts" could be good. If along it's normal difficulty With a group it gets harder depending on group size etc. All drops should be account bound too, then people won't just farm them for profit.

    I think he's more asking if it's worth the time using 2.3 files. if it's the basic 2.3 files you're using, but just new content as maps, item etc. I'd say no. From what i remember there are plenty of cheats, exploits and bugs known to the public on those files.

    Can't you just remove ALL the drop files, to test that it is them causing the issue?

    Go to control panel and then Network Settings. DOes it have anything there?

    Has it got a network adapter assigned to it? If so, are the drivers installed on the VM? Edit: If it has a network card installed but it's just not getting the correct network/internet access, you may need to manually assign the default gateway and IP. Think this will cover it for you...
