    yes all the stuff is correct i double checked it and still having same problem all i wanted was to move the server from an old comp to a new comp i did it through an external harddrive and changed all ips that needed to be changed and still coming up with same problem :(

    hi there thanxs for all ur replys ... ive got a sql now working all good but i got another problem >< i have forward all the ports and everything is connecting ok but the only thing that wont connect for some reason is the OK screen i cant get past that any ideas? thanks in advance :)

    Aight Peeps, Can ne1 upload the required SQL programs to run a 2.3 server on vista premium. I tried sql2000 with 2005 on but had no luck as it say8in cant run on my system. Tried a few threads but has been unsuccessful Thnx in Advance
