1.4 is so pointless , people have tried this (ben n more) and got no where , its gets hacked from all over. theres a reason no1 uses them nemore , there not secure

His post was constructive, hes simply giving you an insight on what can be done as far as cheating goes on 1.4. Over a year ago Ben and myself both ran separate 1.4 servers at the same time and what he said is completely true (And as you can see both servers didn't last very long at all due to this)

The chinese bloke edited his permissions, edited his level and proceeded to log 1-2 new characters on every second in the safezone until there was a few hundred. This wasn't done via port 6000 either, so if you honestly think your 1.4 server will be secure, go for it.. make the mistake we did and fail miserably. Don't say we didn't warn you though.

I did quite well with my 1.4 server, as back then 1.9 ledu was the main server files, which i hated.

Must admin I prefer 1.4 over them all, but I wouldnt play a 1.4 server these days.

Old problem 1.4 hack... milander are a litle , the chinese 14232334 haking program are a full haking for this and use save files from client , (this are the problem at 1.4 M2server use instructions from client save files, who can u create with this program.) 1.9 and 2.x versions dont use this saved files. Are in this versions included cheats, who u can full control them, in 1.9 files with latest GameGate. 2.x and this vers. can have DB port closed, can be hacked only 2.x version where are DB ports openned without any protection at SQL DB, where are protected only with a stupid password. Dos attack against SQL are very simple,....but not for everybody. Anyway after me attacks against LOM dont have sense....:tongue1: are 2 old with low nr. of players and all stuff in game(Rare items is not at fashion).
