go through all the files and make sure the paths are correct, for example if the files are on c drive

make sure in th text files and in setup.txt its pointing to the correct location ie: c:/mirserver etc etc

I attacked here a good !setup.ini only u must change 192.168.1.50 with ur IP : for local 127.0.0.1 and ur name server ...here is : MIR2-DOOM This setup is for PK server.
Dont make other changes. This 1 work just fine!! I dont have time to see every line of this longgg script, so use attachment.

the error is telling you what is wrong, there is a network ip or port incorrect, go through all of the text and config files to make sure the ips are correct, i had this error when my router decided to change my internal ip, and when i ran the files it threw up the same error you have.

i still think its an incorrect path that is causing your first issue

have a really good look through everything mate

or he is running the selgate twice which can cause this error.

your wrong there mate, some of the ip's need to stay 0.0.0.0 , its like that in every single set of 1.9 files.

kadama, as your having so much trouble i will later today set up lifco's starlite files for you with your server name and get them running, upload them and then you will not have any issues, also iam guessing that due to your experiance level with the files your going to strugle with making the ledu exe to play on your server? so ile set that up for you also.

ile do this on this occasion only as i know what its like when your starting out.

i hope this will help you and ile upload it later today when ive got the files running.

cheers

Thanks so much dude i really appreciate it!

I was up till 2am thismorning trying to set it up and i did in actual fact download lifco's files and downloaded an exe (Ledu-English[27th march 06]) i managed to set them up, but when i attempt to get ingame i get a Wrong! message.

I spoke to a friend on msn about that logsvr error i got (located on 1st page of thread) and he said it wasnt an error.

ok here are the files

these are lifcos starlite files i take no credit for any work in them

www.bandet.org.uk/mirserver.rar

there set up and ready to go, including the exe for the client, also includes the maps

read the readme.txt

if your using a router make sure you change the 127.0.0.1 ip's to your internal ip, make sure you also change the ledu client aswell (this only applies if your using a router) make sure you also forward ports 7000 7100 7200

cheers
