Very nice for a first timer, alot better than I was expecting! Anyway, your a long way from becoming the next iPixel, but still an alright design.

5/10 sounds fair to me...

Anyway, to improve next time, try adding more detail, build on a piece bit by bit until your satisfied with it. Also choose colours that will go together, the colours you have chosen are very bright and contrast, this is not always a bad thing, just use it wisely

looks quite funky. and not bad at all for first try.

few tips :
-try adding something into the background and wokring over it
-i personaly think all pieces should have a border

only a couple of minor things, but imo makes it look 10x better
