I always thought it would be a good idea to make the 1st spell available to all classes the 1st good one (skelly, firebang and halfmoon) and get rid of all the bs spells wiz have to get them to tbolt.

Especially warrior it's a proper pain Getting to halfmoon. And Taos are poor melees so getting skelly isn't great lol. Maybe make level 18 for using 2 skellys.

I dont agree tbh. I like the effort it takes to get to them levels and the idea of having something to look forward to.

So your suggesting giving halfmoon as the level 7 skill? :S... Fencing is by far a warriors best skill.

I know fencing is important but it would be just as important at level 15 as it would at 7. Level 7 a lot of mobs would get hurt by halfmoon but at 26 mobs take forever if they are nt your main target.

This would only make the 1st few level go a bit quicker. It would be the same as normal once you got to the higher levels.

Would also be against the morals if Mir to have the early skills be put into your bag when you reached there level.

So you'd be happy...as a WARRIOR, who needs to hit their target 99% of the time, to hit like a WIZARD for an additional 8 levels? Just to have HalfMoon, that will barely hit or do anything because of having no mana and no accuracy??

Clearly you thought this through ;)

The base skills, up to prob lvl40, have been around too many years, been tested too many times across the classes, for widespread juggling of level-levels.

Imo, all skills above level 7, shouldn't be in shops until players sell enough of them. Having said that, I feel the same about items.

I do know I'm in a minority tho.

The warrior class is partly made like it is made because it is meant for pple to learn ropes of mir. It is the most simple class to play of those three.

It is not so much that warrior has far between skills (at lower levels anyway) but that mainly wizard has way, way too many, whole galore of skills that keep coming like mana falling from heaven, which makes warrior feel like a poor relative.

I think the original designers of mir fell in love with wiz class or maybe it was the easiest class to think up new skills for wiz than it was for the other two classes.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
As to books in shops, I don't think there should be any. Why couldn't outdoor bichon mobs drop first skill book as soon as you start leveling outside border?? Raking cats would drop first one, yetis second and omas third... How complicated it would be to add books to their drops? Come on, its what, how many years since mir was made, and the F drops of those raking cats and scarecrows and yetis and omas are likely identical to what they were then!!!!! I mean WTF is with that!
That's because nobody is interested in improving gameplay for starting levels, or nobody has any new ideas, all stuck in old ways.

It is most boring to just go and buy books from shop and for cheap to top it off. Same goes for the weapons. You go to Oma cave but the drops there mean precisely nothing on this version of mir (to be particular) because you already bought from shops all of that. Mir has always been either way too difficult - in all those tons and tons of ETs I killed on euro and usa, none has ever dropped me GA. I mean WTF is with that - or it was too easy, you just buy GA in shop and for gold, which you can get in what, fifteen minutes running about harvesting nuts or killing few spitting spiders and selling those teeth they drop. :'(

I could go on and on, I think gold shouldn't go to bag automatically, that's as mir unlike as anything. And this particular AceM2 has way too many lower level things missing, for example SV mines are nerfed to the bone, there are no ghouls (were those just specialty of usa mir?), I think no different exp. than what you get in BMines, I didn't look if the wipers are there at all but that's higher level stuff, for lower levels nobody cares much... that said I can see that's not priority for this server which is still being developed in very basic ways.

Also mob are kinda too few, caves seem to me to be fairly tame, quiet places, only connecting path in Oma cave seems to be more alive like it always was - but given the load on server that's something we can't have or at least couldn't reasonably have had before the server moved to dedicated server...

I could understand it if mir was played by new pple but most folks on here are old hands that should know how to deal with a bit more difficulty, maybe it might make me think more seriously of grouping up with somebody, but there's more minuses than pluses to grp right now (minuses are incovenience, as soon as you get together with somebody, you're tied more or less, can't leave off mir to return in fiteen minutes as you fell like etc etc)

I still think all the warrior spells should be moved down a level or 4. All these new skills for warrior and I will probably **** my warrior off before I get close to them.

Wizzy and Taos are fine. They have plenty of skills. Atleast 2 for every 1 a warrior gets.

I quite like the good dropping to bag. I do really think Mir needs to get some new ideas. If a new player does come on they will get bored and **** off. I only play because I like the look of most of the new skills, if the game was like the game I played when I last enjoyed Mir I would not be playing it.
