[2.3] [2.3]Assitance required with starting low rate project.

Hey there,

I have countless questions and really didnt want to spam them all thus added them all into one initial thread.

Having set up and run servers for a variety of other games, I have started looking into setting up a low rate mir 2.3 server on a full dedicated server with a full support team in place. Would be great if someone could answer these questions for me!

First up, RAM usage when running a mir server. How much ram does it take to run a lag free mir server? Need this information before sorting a dedicated server out for the game!

Second Question, is there anyone out there experienced in setting up and modifying the files who would like to join me in running this project? As for all i could work out how to set them up, editing them and learning as I go would take some time and I'm looking to have something up and running in a short time frame.

Finally could someone clean up all the guides with broken links? Its like sifting through a mine field at the moment reading them and then finding broken file links everywhere?

ram is not just about how much , i run mine to 2 gigs of very very low latency and gives less lag than 4 gigs with higher clock speeds

mostly wont get a whole lot of support for 2.3 from what i read ><

i second the need for links to be cleaned up , i made a post recently about putting torrent availablity because i detest most of the file hosting sites with deadlinks or timers that take longer than a full client via torrent . i will be creating a torrent for any that i use myself, tho thats only gonna be for what i can/am downloading for heroes , at least for now . but will certainly do a few like 'mirror' of kaori's /feryns/mirfiles . but its the ones uploaded by ppl here id like to start with , things like dnitems downloadetc i cant get working link for either
