2.3 .wil and .wix

whenever u change or add or delete an image from the will file, does the wix automatically update or do u have to do that manually?

when i import images into my weapon.wil, the appear the exact same was as my original files in the wil file(positions) but when i wear them ingame, they are out of order when i hit the sword disappears or appears on my head and things like that, how do u sort this, thnx.?

ive added the images to items.wil and dnitems.wil same slots but when i wear them, they dont show ?

not really a question for this forum, but no, the wix needs updated aswell separately. I do believe the tools that generate the WILs also update the WIXs

You need to add the weapon to the Weapon.wil also

im using hh8 to add items to the .wil file

so correct me if im wrong if i have update the wil file using hh8 it will automatically update the wix?

soz didnt really understand that,

but that doesnt answer my question, why are the movements messed up?

You need the add the weapon images to the weapon.wil
You dont need to worry about the .wix files
every .wil editor I know of updates the .wix file when you edit the .wil file

StateItem.wil shows the items on your body
Item.wil shows them in your bag
DnItem.wil shows them on the ground
Weapon.wil shows the action and movement of the weapon

got the images all workin stateitem items and dnitems and have the weapon files added but when i wear the object its not in correct order or sequence

its even mixing the skins up as attached

i suggest you redownload a fresh set of weapon files.

if you are trying to add the items yourself you need to alter the placement of the images because they are off, the hh8 viewer shows you what the placement coordinates are at the moment, they are wrong

looking at the screenshots again, it looks as if your interface is off as well, i suggest you replace those file as well

got the weapons sorted stupid mistake, left a line of empty cells between one of the weapons so this was throwing it off

and for the interface ill check that 1 out
