Hey peeps, I am struggling with being behind a router. I have changed EVERY IP from 127.0.0.1 to my LAN IP 192.168.2.150 and have opened up ports 7000,7100,7200.

The only ones that are not my LAN IP are in the following files where i have my global ip:

DBServer - !serverinfo.txt - 192.168.2.150 *global* 7200
LoginSrv - !addrtable.txt - ktest ktest 192.168.2.150 *global* *global*:7100
M2Server - !runaddr.txt - *global*

My client on the SAME computer is pointing to 192.168.2.150. Please tell me where i am wrong, there are NO 127.0.0.1 IP's left in my files as far as i'm aware. I have managed to create an account but it won't let me log into it, it just freezes

If anyone would be able to help via msn i'd appreciate it too, [email protected]

Thanks,
Jamie

As in reset everything to 127.0.0.1 and try and connect? or just the client IP

EDIT: Changing just the client IP results in the same problem

Right i have changed all ip's to my LAN ip in client and server files and i can connect fine. Which ip's do i change to global ip's in order for others to connect?

I'm guessing it's same as 2.3 mate.

Set everything to your LAN IP and tell people to connect via your GLOBAL IP.

As long as the ports are forwarded, that should work.

The IP's look right from where i'm sitting - if you can connect using your internal IP 192.168.*.* but NOT from your global and other people can't connect through the global IP - it's definitly your ports.

Make sure you have opened/forwarded -

- 7000
- 7100
- 7200
- 7300
