Name: Pet Extension
Cost: 500GG
Function: Extends pet tamed duration by 4 hours.
Allow sale/trade

A little quality of life improvement for wizzies. Taming 5 pets can take anywhere up to an hour depending on which ones you want, then another half hour or so getting them to level 7, that gives you a 30-45 minute window of use before they become due to untame.

Name: Pet Stables
Cost 2500GG
Function: Allows storage of up to 5 pets for up to 24 hours.
Allow sale/trade

Since wizzies have lower single target damage (in comparison to our AoE abilities), pets have become a more important aid for hunting solo, so potentially having a 1hr 30min ramp-up time getting to the point where you have useful pets and are ready to hunt, is a little bit harsh, especially for the more casual players.

There is bound to be some flaming and crying from other classes so to them I say; Firstly, I'm an assassin. Secondly, get past the knee-jerk "omg wiz already OP" reaction and think about this for a moment.

These additions do not increase the power or ability of the class, they simply make it more bearable to do something the class can already do.

I also think these items should be able to be traded and sold on the TM, so that any war/sin/tao/arch can trade these to make some gold, as not all wizzies will be able/willing to buy them with GG. This way everybody can benefit from the addition, not just wizzies.

That is something I had thought about, however you're still faced with the time it takes to get the pets to level 7. And the fact that there is at present no way to retain your pets if/when you need to log out/afk.

BOOM fixed no need to add more silly GS items that only rips of one class.

Did you read the part I wrote about making the items able to be traded? It's not ripping off one class as all classes would have an interest in buying.

No ta. No gameshop items should be tradeable. And until theres a way to one shot kill wiz pets i dont want any changes except maybe extend by 1 hr.

Why should they not be tradeable?

Very closed minded attitude, you can have a 1 hit way to kill them as soon as wizzies get a skill to summon them.

If you're paying 500gg(£1) for 7 dc for 3mins i'd expect something like this if it got added to be a hell of alot more GG.

500GG is actually 50p. Why would you expect it to be more? the impact drug gives a measurable boost in power, this does not.

I think it would be better if the pet timer went down as normal but when the pet tame time hits 1 second it would check if a player has a CharmTorch on which then the pets will not untame until its unequipped / ran out.

Disagree - 500GG is too cheap for the item considering how common ImpactDrugs are and how cheap they are compared to the rest of GG items. I'd expect at least 1,500GG to 2000GG for a torch as i mentioned above.

Why do you want this to be more expensive than something which gives a tangible increase in power to a class?

I find retaming pets very easy on this server I just had my pets for nearly 12 hours np at all , so the extended tame time isn't important imo

you do realise that wizzards late game will be much better than most classes? if they added this now, they cant remove it later on in game when u can tame better pets, which would be a even more advantage for them

I fail to see how this makes any difference, wizzies will already be able to tame better pets. What's your basis for saying they will be better? Better at what?

So far I've not seen any substantial reasons not to add this feature, most of the posting comes across as nothing more than "I think wiz are OP so don't do anything for them".

Adding time-based GS items is a terrible idea, besides maybe exp potions (and we can all agree the server would be fairer without these, but it's done to cover the costs of running a server etc etc)

Take the extra storage tab for a month for example. Ridiculous idea. Make it cost 10x as much but make it permanent - Nobody in their right mind should want to spend money on something that isn't going to make a significant difference.

Wizzies become monsters with FF/FD and higher MC. Until then, go tstorm/fw in stone temple and make yourself some very easy cash, all you need is a healer ant.

Pets are fine as they are even with the recent buffs to taming.
