2 servers one ip

iam after puting a second server on my dedi host but this is my problem

i have changed the ports on the txt files to 7001/7101/7201

but does not work i get the api error and we all know this means to gates are useing the same port

i dont want to mess about to much as i have evilmir server running on it now so this is why iam posting does anyone know how ?

also what about port 6000 the d/b


i had 2 servers running on it last year one was mir1.9 and everquest i cant remember what i did toget it running

5000 - Game Server (for game gate)
5010 - Game Server (for game gate) - instead of 5000 if hex'ed exe
5100 - DB Server (for selchar gate)

5600 - Login Server (for db/game server)
6000 - DB Server (for game server)
7000 - Login Gate
7100 - Selchar Gate
7200 - Game Gate
UDP 10000 - Log Data Server

just tryed it geting same errors as before, like i said i dont want to mess to much as one server is running now

you should read what kaori said
you need to actionly edit the m2server (hex it) to change the default ports it uses
you cant just edit it in txt/ini files and hope it to work since some of it is hardcoded

i dont even get that far m8 i get the error on the logingate

open cmd and run one of the following...
first one is slow but will show you the name of the exe.
second one you can at least look at which ports are opened.
netstat -nba
netstat -noa | find "LISTENING"
this command will be your path to success.

hexing all 3 servers (login,db,game) will be required as some of them are not in INI files. If exe is packed, then forget it.
