7200 closed plz hlp

me and cba2pot r having problem with getting into game, when ever we select our char and go to start the screen goes dim and just stays like that.
so we checked online and found out that port 7200 was closed and we cant seem to get it open... can ne1 hlp??

Make sure any fire walls have the port forwarded. Also make sure your routers firewall has it allowed.

y ive checked and i think its okay, but when i check on websites to see if my ports are open, 7000, 7100, 3000 are all oped but 7200 'timed out'

Post a screen shot of your ports forwarded. Also state any anti virus`s u may have.

hes using AVG antivirus

yep im only using AVG i was using mcaffee but uninstalled and installed avg instead

When i make weps i cannot see the inside...

The only thing i can think of, is have you setup the ini's for the gates right ? i mean to match your router ip

Routers can be a real pain, more so if your trying to connect to the game on the host pc

Ive seen a lot of post over the years sayin its online and peeps can play but i cant etc

I think your problem is the way you have that set up.

Its from port 7000 to port 7200

I may be wrong but it looks like you have it from port 7000 to port 7000 thats just port 7000 ?

hmm i was told it was from 7000-7000 seperatly then 7100-7100 sepratly ect. ect. because i can get on (im hosting) but after char sel when the ok screen is meant to come up nothing happens and the screen just stays dim

ye but when i try to test them using PFT Port checker it says there closed and when i get a m8 t try it he say its not working because it wont get past character selection (notice screen wont come up).

ok so its definetly my ports because i can connect using internal ip but when i try using my external p i get the same problem as everyone else, the notice screen wont come up after you press start. The only annoying thin is i cant see the problem with my ports. can anybody tell me whats wrong. i remember something like this happening in Mir Revenge when the screen use to go dim and nothig would happen but im really confused now, atm i dont see the problem let alone the answer.

thanks for the hlp every1... CBA managed to sort the ports out... it will be up soon for testing but atm theres nothing intresting going with the db since we are not realy sure if we should use somone elses server files or start from scratch
