Chrisjc here! A few none pk areas with small bosses for peaceful groups or noobs would not go amiss in my opinion. I think the rewards would have to be lowered for this though to match the risk you are willing to take.

As for "team ruining whole game", yeah some of you chaps can be a bit wrong in the head (much <3). But also some are very nice and helpful on a daily basis. This might be because team are all made up of different individuals...... go figure! So if any newcomers do read this, dont fret. There are a lot of exaggerations in these threads and there are a LOT of very nice helpful people in game, even in team and forsaken. :)

Well have to put DD here. Most of them can not stand up to speak for themselves. But I am here at least.
Do you remember because of who, Sam adjusted the damage of the thunderbolt? He is flamefield.
Thanks to him, Thunderbolt is doing some damage nowadays.

Well, I think you underestimated DD's power, even they can kill warlord and EM and team easily if full members are online. EE is a sub-boss really compare to Colossus. So stop moaning about it.

About the coding, My point was you cry too much. not about Sam accept it or not. Apparently you really addicted to twist facts.

I'm sure many players of this server would be willing and have the expertees to assist Sam & BH with the background work of the server, unfortunately I can't see Sam wanting current players being involved in this. EE bug fix would never be implemented if you were on coding team :P

Its not so much the GK that people care for its the 2 real ghouls that spawn with it.
For less than 5 minutes work (Log in just outside the KR door - shouldn't be no log in/out on 3rd floor at all but fix ship first)
So yeah, log in, step through door when its due, kill the 2 real ghouls and GK come away with a chance of
Plat or x 3
Gold ore x3
BIO x3
Marble x2
Rune x3
Bene x 3

you have good an bad drops of course and never get all of the above per drop but you do get a nice selection.
I camped GK KR on the spawn time for 6 spawns one Monday (day off) (30mins worth of game time) I had fairly good luck and came away with
2x Bene - 500k
3x Focus Marbles - 600k at the time.
2x Plat 12+ 600k
3x Gold 12+ 150k
3x Destruction Rune - 1.5M
30 Minutes - 18 Mobs - 3.3M + will marbles and evasion marbles ect.
People would do it for 1m every 30mins if it took only 5mins out of what your doing on another char per spawn time.

Take the 2 real ghouls out of KR and the camping will reduce by 90%
or
Remove log on/off outside the KR and the camping will reduce by 50%

*fix log on/off and kitchens no spawns in the ship before looking at this though*
+ I've shot myself in the foot because its the best pot cash and gem making to time investment ratio on the game.

It had incredible MC for its level and I killed a large number of "noobs" trying to steal "my" risk free mob.

It didn't work well, it got camped just like everything else.


As for the NO PK idea.
Run 4 noobs down and stand on peoples drops... cant PK or repulse etc etc opens up even more grief play.

the noob can be lvled up in a few hours if boosted and depending on the lvl cap of the cave players will roll that class with the highest advantage, prob war or sin. It's worth the effort to log on it every 2 hrs for 5 minutes to make 200-300k from the bene.

On the flip side what about the long term life of the cave? so the low lvls moan because they go to kill WT / GK and get dicked by a high lvl. ( tbh deal with it, it's mir go lvl and come again)

What you don't see is when you got 2 groups of high lvls fighting over WT/GK/RME now that's end game fun.

I am not crying, I am passionate and want the server to work just as much as you do, I am confident the server will improve with the new additions discussed previously. It sounds like someone is still mad we reported lost ship bug :cool:

But yeah a standard ghoul drops
2 items of worth from marbles, bene, ore and runes

GK tends to drop 2-3 ore and maybe something else

so yes they are crazy good for the time/effort needed to kill them.

Like I said, EE is a subboss as colossus.

Read the first page of this topic, few good points.

If there was an influx of users to the server it wouldn't work in my opinion, unless :

- The developers made A LOT more content like double or triple the amount bosses, so everyone has a chance to kill a boss or two to keep them interested.

- Another option for this could be level capped bosses. (not all but some like the lower tier ones)

More users would be great but imo things would need to change alot, size of maps etc.

cba typing anymore may add to this later.

A few bosses on the same timer is always good.

Last night saw OKS spawn while Team were on route to Warlord after killing colo.

The group had to split to get both and the fight in OKS room between Damage Inc and Team was decent.

if there were 3 or 4 due at the same time it would be difficult for one guild to monopolize them all.

Ppl left because they didnt like the euro anti-fun feeling the server had. They wont return neither if u fix that crap about GK no1 cares nor if u add monks(if that was the case then archer would be enough to keep em).

If you want to attract a different audience make a high rate server with fast pace and custom non-euro feeling. Thats if you want to face reality anyway.

They should have been in game since the exp increase event? Unless there is a problem we have missed, I can't see any issues raised in the bug section though.

IIRC, they haven't spawned since that event ended, I think most (like me) thought they were only around for the event only

For some reason mir ppl think that grinding 6hrs in a low rate is somehow harder than grinding 6hrs on a high rate. Also apparently if ur numbers are right (1000+ users at first days) im one of the 850 ppl that didnt like it so that makes us a lot of fools compared to the 100ppl that still play it and the 50 bots who must be geniuses.

1stly there are multiple examples of high rates that lasted over 3months and had same usercount as Chronicles which is a perfect euro-clone (but ye im a fool because u cant understand there are DIFFERENT TYPE OF PLAYERS THAT ENJOY DIFFERENT SERVERS)
2ndly even if what you are saying about server life is true about high rates (which isnt but anyway) who said u cant have ladder-like resets sort of like diablo and poe which have some similarities with mir? After all the best times in every server low or high rate are the first few days where everyone races to be the first in doing this and that.

This is interesting. No we have not seen a Lord spawn since the Lords event, I remember BH mentioning it was a formula to make one of these spawn, 3 months on we are no closer to spawning one. (Bug maybe??)
