A bit of help please.

Hi Guys,

Its been a while since ive visited LOMCN but I was impressed with the recent developments since having my 1.4 server and thought I wold try a new 2.3 server build. I am using TheDeaths files but am running into some issues:

1. Using my Euro Mir Client, I see a black screen once trasnferred to the Gamegate.

you need to do the latest database edits, your database engine isnt connecting properly

so if you have done the edits check that the connection information is correct

Hi Fire, Thanks for the speedy reply! I must admit I thought I did apply all the db changes to tables and fields in the update.doc - but I will re-check.

Does it make any different that Im running 2 DB's? I use theshrine_data & theshrine_char. Are some of the exe's only coded to work with one merged db?

Well Ive looked through everything and cant find what Ive missed. All extra tables and fields have been added all the way through updates.doc.

Im proper pulling my hair out!

Would some be willing to create SQL files of their database/s for me?
That way we can pintpoint the issue, and you will evermore be in my favour and I will send you beer or some such thing!

You can generate SQL exports of your databases by doing the following:

1. Right click on the database in SQL Server Enterprise Manager
2. Choose 'All Tasks' and 'Generate SQL Script'.
3. Click 'Show All'
4. Click 'Script all Objects'
5. Click on 'OK' and save your sql file somewhere nice and safe!

I would be very grateful if someone could post their SQL exports here in this thread, or email them to me at [email protected]
