People say intel is the best around. And that amd is better if u play games constantly...

so any other websites?

Intel is only good for a few select things that the majority of endusers will never use.

Oh, and A64 is the king of games. And I mean king. Buy the best P4. Take what you spend on that, divide that in half (and a little less) and you could have gotten a much better gaming cpu.

EDIT

The A64 3800 s939 is better with games than the Pentium 4 Extreme Edition 3.73GHZ.

Now, the highest released P4EE right now is the 3.46GHZ edition, which costs roughly $1,045 USD. The A64 3800+ s939 only costs $429 USD.

Do the math.

Oh no you caught me!

Oh no, you didn't.

Well which one?

The northwood 3.4, the prescott 3.4, or the new prescott revision 3.4?

And you do realize that there is a little difference between the 3.46GHZ EXTREME EDITION and the regular 3.4's....

EDIT

And the $185 USD A64 3200+ s939 beat's any of the 3.4's

That's roughly $438 USD. The A64 3200+ s939 is only $185 and it beats it.

The integrated gfx means forget about playing video games. And you didn't list ram.

Yes i know this is what i hate about dell, they only make pci slots and not agp.Id actually buy from the pc rack website but they dont even provide a phone number and when u actualy want to buy the pc you get error on the page. But a very good pc (custom made) goes about 800 from them.comming with a pro 9600 radeon card , flat pannel , neon lights , custon case etc..

Dell has AGP and PCI-E, with the upper range computers.

If your buying a new PC, get something definitely better than a R9600P

im going to build my first PC soon, and to top it off im going to buy best of the best stuff ^^ (will prob get one or 2 peices a month cuz atm im poor and the gfx card is going to cost like £350+ which is crazy but worth it tbh).

reason for this is ive found that if u want exactly what u want in a computer you have to build it your self, buying off the shelf or even customizing one online from whatever company never gets you exactly what u want and u have to pay for it all in one go.

and it will pwn dell.
