Sorry but it is. did you apply the (closer to target=more damage)? as it does seem to hit ok(ish) when stood next to target. if so can u change it back please,whats the point in a "ranged class" supposedly hardest hitting skill only doing damage at close range?

i have lvl 3 AB and a lvl 43 bow,at range i hit about 100 on a winged oma,whereas a fireshot can hit 200,up close it hits for 250+ which is still poor imo,considering in pvp id get flattened before i had the chance to get a shot off.

sorry if it sounds like another moan thread,it really isnt,im just giving feedback so you can get things sorted :tennis:

before the changes i could hit over 300 at range on a good hit 33x3 at the lowest 120/110/110 at best,thats with standard powers,kb`s & gbead

i know its not technically a bug but i thought id post here rather than on main forum

thanks Tai,sorry it was 2am lol,hes some more feedback based on the trainer in mizu,using deathly aim dc30-87 crit+6 luck+2 (figures are total damage)

so up close it does good damage im happy with those totals,but at range its less use then fireshot. and considering archers are a ranged class i dont understand why this skill needs to be used at melee range(do wizz skills hurt more at close range?)

if the close range results were hitting at range(on a ranged class),this post would not exist.

The issue is at range the wizard strong spells lock you to the spot. AB does not do this and therefore was overpowered at range.

The way it is programmed now was/is a compromise between the two. It was this or have the spell the same as blizzard and MS and lock the archer to the spot when casting.

But as always all feedback is welcome

ok,but also wizards have a magic shield,archers dont,and wizard strong spells also hit 5x5 AB requires a single aim on a moving target maybe a fix-to-spot for AB would b better as it does also have a shorter cast time.

any archer or wizard that stands next to a warr/sin to fire a shot is going to get smashed b4 they cast it anyway,so how can it be OP at range? with skills such as shadow step? even at range were vulnerable.

From a single arrow barrage? or from 3 fire shots? Or are they totals of 3 arrowbarrages?

Thank you for clearing that up...

My intention with ArrowBarrage is that I wanted it to do a scary amount of damage, however, 388 would completely wipe out another Archer and/or Wizard in a single hit (which is something I did not want)...

So, we made ArrowBarrage's damage scale on distance ie the closer you are the more damage it will do (because warriors/assassins are likely to chase you and there for feel the higher end of damage, where wizards/archers are likely to keep their distance and not be 1 hit by its damage)... This also enables a slight bit of skill, ie an archer needs to get closer to do more damage.

With regards to wizards with blizard/meteorstrike, they get stuck in place whilst casting and you can also get out of the target area before any real damage is done (specially if your already running/have decoy out).
