Dear Gms,

Yesterday night I drink 20 Bene. Constantly , how ever all bene.s become " nothing happen" .......... I want to ask is there possible or that is the new rate for Bene? LoL........

Random doesn't mean that if you pop 20 benes and get nothing 20 times in a row or 20 curses you're "supposed" to get a luck on the 21st.

The problem is that people don't really understand how randomness works.

Just download the server files for Mir2/3, start a local server and spawn bags full of benes as a GM, see how many bags you have to go through to get luck 3 sometimes.

Had same thing happen to me, maybe just unlucky. Better to just buy an already lucked weapon then to try it yourself I find.

Try using them at different intervals rather than a batch of 20 in one sitting.

It makes absolutely no difference. Please don't spread rumors and call them facts. Random means random means every attempt is its own unique little ecosystem where you have X% chance at luck, Y% chance at nothing and Z% chance at curse. The individual rolls/attempts/systems are in no way connected.

I drank four and got luck +3

then did another two and got to luck +4

ive done 20 and got nowhere on other weapons, I've come to the conclusion it really is random

You dont know the code or whats built into it.
Random is random but are there conditions to improve odds.

Imagine you get a "luck score" 0-100 everytime you log in. Drinking 20 with a 0 roll would not be the same as drinking 3 with a 100 roll.

Point is.. you cant tell someone to drink all 20 the same way someone else cant tell someone to try 3 at a time, because noone knows the code.

Or maybe I'm basing my opinion on 13 years of experience playing Mir and hands-on experience with tens of sets of Mir 2 and 3 server files (both of which you clearly lack) and not seeing any "luck score" character stat on any server ever.

But yeah, it's fully possible that BH or Sam added another layer of randomness to the already randomly determined outcome of drinking one bene or 50 in a row or in groups of 7 with 7 minute breaks between them and a 10 minute break before the last one. Its just not *probable* that this is the case.

What, do you think BH is an evil mastermind who devoted hours/days to making getting luck 7 more complicated than it already was by having you jump through hoops to get a good result?
