Access Violation

How comes im getting this error? I belive its something to do with sound ?
The client im using has the wav folder, there is no problem with my sound on my pc thats a fact for sure and i dont get this error with any other mirserver.

I was able to create account then this msg popped up, Now its pops up every time i click the mir exe, this on a 2.6 server

Are you using a 2.3 client to try connect to a 2.6 server?

2.6 client ofc lol, for ripmans files.. Do i need a certain client ? because not to sure what one im using lol xD

No idea then really, 2.6 files are pretty much ready for off line use, you changed any ips?

Nope not changed no ips or nothing like that, maybe could be to do with the exe ? or wrong client completly ? What client should i be using for ripman's files?

I use usa client and patch it up, i assume your using the files from in the source so in there, in release folder add the stuff in there to the client.

Didnt know there was even a client in the source/release but i just tried using that, and what happens is it dont give the option to type id/pass just logs you straight in with the char called Ripman but you cant do/see nothing because the error msg stays bang in the middle of the screen. Surely there must be a client i can just download for ripman's files ?

Got to disagree with you there lifco my sound on my pc is perfecto for sound with surround sound set up (watch alot of movies you see :P also windows 7)
Also another 2 windows 7 pc's i have theres nothing wrong with any of them.
Can play mir on any of them any server aswell. This dont happen with no other client. Just seems to be this one. Still waiting for the client to download you sent me. So we see what happens when thats done

Simply the wrong client, nothing to do with sound! mwuahaha.

that looks like the sound driver not up to date
