Account name or password is incorrect

Hi there

Been having this problem on my chara and store chara, also with a few ppl's chara that use this pc, as well as a laptop and not one of them can log into there account.

Everytime we try to log in we get Account name or password is incorrect.

Caps lock is not on number lock is not on and tried with just for sake, also redownloaded client but still no luck. Tried to change password only to be told same thing, but other mates getting a message saying his account is locked please try again later.

I made a new account and that seems to work no problems, so its clearly working and is up, just must be linked to this router etc.

Now I dunno what is going on any advice.

I've seen a few other people have had this prob before, some it just went away by itself, others were banned accounts.

So what I'd like to know is why does this happen? and if I am banned, what am I being banned for I dont use cheats etc, I do use multi window now and again but think so does 9/10th's the server.
The only thing I did realise was that the 1 thing in common with all the accounts that are blocked we all choose the same password, so I dunno if thats realated due to that you have looked through ur files seen same password thought maybe spammers or what ever. Since the accounts with diff passwords appear to work. with no probs.

Anyway any help would be great cheers.

Hi Hun this happened to me the other day, i just kept typing my password in and then it decided to work :S

Yeah another guy said that also. But think it was blapp that got put on ban list for no reason.

Tried a hundred times over, still not working what so ever.

Also can still log in with guys I made last night no probs and other guy with diff password so must be a full account thing.

If I've been banned for 0 reason I will generally go nuts, since I do nothing but play fair whilst got other ppl being general douche bags in the game, and since it appears to be the same password ones that I can't access I can only think its for multiwindow.
Unless things like avg and watchin youtube in background count lol. But if thats the case they shouldnt allow multiwindow or windowed mode to temp me to watch stuff lol.

I've always played in windows mode! Can't get banned for that surely as it gives you the option in-game.

Hope so to, Nothing more boring that sitting waiting about though. I can't understand why this has happened.
I've now got my AVG keeps pickin mir up as a virus which is quite annoying. Sitting on a newbie waiting for Sam to pop on and telling me mirs a threat lol.
Not long before it decided to just to take it down completly think I'm going to have to remove AVG and possible start all over by looks.

Been looking at past thread about similar problem and seemed alot of ppl were getting banned for variable things, I'm begining to wonder if avg being on all the time get flagged up, Since I only installed it other day cause my comp got the blue screen of death, so thought I'd see if was infected.

Well I officially give up trying to log in, thats god knows how many times(thousands id imagine).

Its safe to say I must be banned, Though I have not even the slightest idea why, No cheats, No booster thing, no macroing, no botting, no nothing. So god knows why.
It can't be for multi window or server would have no players, must be password thing.

Would be abit considerate for a message to come up at log in screen telling me
1. That I was or wasnt.
2. The reason behind it.

It could well just be a bug, if you have not done anything wrong then all tho its a ballache you can't play till one of the team finds and sorts the issue. After all if you have done nothing wrong then you have no reason to be banned do you? could have been a simple mistake by gm's trying to ban someone else and getting your account as well.

Point being if you have done nothing wrong just wait and you will get your account back.

Also, just because this has happened befor.... are you 100% sure you have the right account name and passwords? someone else had this issue only to be told by sam that he was using the wrong password in the end ;x

Na passwords correct there is 5 accounts connected 3 of mine 2 of other.
2 my mains and my market guy .
1his main and 1 his market.

Plus i redownloaded patch last night and after that got in the first time. But never again after it.

Cheers for help though really hope it gets sorted. Its just all these other posts i read about similar experiances

Have you tried the boring but basic, turn your pc off. Completley off, unplug it at the socket type off. Go do something else for at least 10 mins. Then try again. Not just another download. Sounds like multiple accounts and multiple windows getting tangled. Good luck. I think if you been banned it says so even if it doesnt say why or you get an email

Hi there.

Yes tried all that, this all happened last night whilst I was still ingame on main.
I tried to log into my market guy to notice I couldn't, then tried other account same thing.
Eventually had to log out of main, I know someone is going to say you shouldnt have logged out lol.

To find out can't access main ether, Have had the comp off since last night bascially including router etc when in bed.

Well Hoping that it would say if banned, It just seems strange its all the same password accounts I cant access. Apart from that 1 time straight after new download of files.

Its weird how I can log into accounts with diff passwords though I really don't understand.

I had a check of the !debug file since guild member told me to look. I get Access violation at address 00595BC5 in module 'mir2.dat' now and again.

perhaps you have some how changed your keyboard layout from english to american or something.

try.. writing your password down in notepad (to check its all right) then copy and pasting into game.

Thanks for all the help btw guys, use have been awesome.

I've tried this also with no luck. Can still access diff accounts but just not the ones I use or need.
It is strange how this happens a few days after a blue scren of death and me installing AVG been perfectly fine before then must be realatied or just a coincidence. Even if somene was to guess my password they would need to match it up to 5 diff account names to so can't be that.

It does all point to one direction tbh but just wish I'd get a GM to clarify what has actually happened.

Also asked a m8 to try loggin in using his pc. Same prob my account appears to be locked.

We notified sam this morning, he said he'd not banned anyone, we've asked him to look into it when he get's home from work.
