Accuracy and Mining

How exactly does this stat effect mining as the GS pick axes have +2 accuracy on them...

Better chance of hitting the rocks, I used to mine in acc+10 aspeed+7 and would fill my bag up in no time, also go through 2 prem axes in no time. lol

The ores are classed as mobs as they spawn, they have a certain amount of agility so the more accuracy you have the more often you hit them

Not sure if this is technically accurate.

Accuracy effects how many times you hit, not sure if it's a mob though...

Ye i think thats actually true, you see them spawn infront of you. Must be along the lines of this but im not sure if thats why accuracy effects it. I have noticed that mining has become terrible recently tho.. has there been any changes or have i just had a very unlucky time with it lately?
