I just stumbled upon this abomination while looking for the original film on usenet, so I IMDB'd it as I have never heard about it...

Turns out it was a straight-to-dvd film, here's a trailer.

I feel violated, I mean, that looks aweful.

Has anyone actually seen it?

iv heard you should expect to get from it what you would any film like that before you see it, and not one that would rival a jim carrey film.

cant bring myself to watching it personally, dont want it to ruin my view on those 2 awsum films.

Exactly my point, but I mean why would they do it. Like "Son of the Mask" - I paid 6 quid to see that piece of shite in the cinema...

i suppose the younger generation neva really saw jim carrey's old films, so they're just trying to keep the series alive.

or maybe they just wanted to be able to bring out a trilogy box set :P

Oh my... I didn't think of that. Box set!! :(

That's gunna be a sight, two fantastically awesome films ruined by a boxset with this in it.

If they bring one out I might go into HMV, buy it and take out this film and either give it them back or destroy it, then keep the first two.

They do it all the time. Just look at the Godfather triology. Two of the greatest films ever! Then came the third...
