I've zero affiliation with him and just see things from a fresh looking server on files that I've never played with some pretty cool features that I've never seen before (i didnt return to mir until 2020 from around 2006) i'm also an adult who can freely judge based on how good his server is when i play it.
I've been hopping on every pop-up flavour-of-the-month server for a while now and everything is just utter shite every time.
You log into safe zone as a level 1 with literally 85% of the screen filled with glowing fairy wings, and when you go hunting, every class is AoEing 100 mobs at a time, 10 minutes into the game, it's just not Mir. New cave and new item set every 15 minutes, nah miss me with that.
It sounds like this server is attempting to make Mir, Mir again, and that sounds great to me.
People shouldnt let the hype blind you. Wanting a low rate server doesn’t justify supporting a known cheater. This guy has a proven track record, he cheated as a player, tried to cheat the UC as a GM and even let his friends run around with cheats and GM characters.
Do you really think someone like that hasn’t slipped in sneaky client side tools to scam players? Personally I don’t doubt it for a second. Stop letting hype override common sense.

Never saw these and can assume its the same level as what most server owners do when they get a player bitching about "how much they donated" to a server after they didnt get their own way...

was not my address he posted on a public discord but sure... people should be aware what he does or could do with there information, also had nothing to do with 'i donated this much'. also had nothing to do with 'refunds' this was well before apoc gate that him and his mates told people what to write to gain there money back without any disputes.
And what makes it different? it was lets say 5+ years later guy argues in public discord and uses peoples addresses as leverage to an argument that he gained from donations to his server.
