on a sidenote:
big advice to anyone who wants to play this server.
most important thing to do when you download the client = remove the 'magpie' program and disable it in your ini:
mir2config.ini simply change 'Enabled=False' under [Magpie]

you do not want to use magpie it will absolutely cause you extra lag and input delay.

that or slap it on a custom scaling to nearest (not Lanzcos)

Anyone play Tao in beta? With this being classic mir2 wondering how the Tao will work, most servers give the pets CrossHalfMoon and buffs because classic mir2 Tao was only used and poison/heal bot

It a hard grind, drops are low, gold is low, Tao pets don’t do silly spells.

Every class gets a QOL spell early game lvl1, the Tao one is the best as there early-late game is the hardest

So I'm being told by lomcn staff they won't accept the server name. Publish mirtracks UC which is already paid for, and also wont accept the live server post because they don't accept the server name, due to them thinking acem2 is the file set.

anyone worth their salt knows the file set is originally AppleM2

also in the rules it doesnt state anything so can we get it cleared up if the rules are changing for this server alone?
since i dont remember Bon being forced to change oldskool name ? and countless others because it has previously been used before.

last i cheked:
AppleM2 = original chinese files.
Ace M2 = the english lomcn version of the files (also had a lomcn sub section at the time with updates/bug reports etc with that name i think).
funny enough lomcn mods at the time said they'd release the files once bugfixed/working properly.
chronicles = the server later build off the Ace M2 project.

Sounds like you're just trying to be awkward tbh. Its common knowledge "AceM2" is the term coined as a set of files that was developed by the Chronicles server team. Regardless of what other terms the files may have derived from.

AppleM2 wasn't any more original so your argument that it's what they derived from is stupid. AppleM2 likely was developed from DiamondM2, which was developed from another set, which was leaked from the original delphi source.

Why try and confuse things? Just pick a new server name and we can all continue to get along nicely.

Also, your own advert acknowledges "AceM2" as a set of files.
