Hey

I'm wondering if you have considered including HP, MP, Slow, PA, Agil, ACC (and anything else Ive missed) to the chance of added stats on the rare drops?

I'm also wondering if you have considered a smart drop system or a work around if the coding is too hard. For example getting a MC+2 Coral Ring is pointless. The rate that yellow items drop is low enough that it would be ideal if they were going to be of use to at least someone at some level.

I suggest a NPC to replace + mc/sc/dc from drop if that is distinguishable vs gemmed items (only on class specific accessories.) so go to the DC npc, match your item in bag from the list he has then click the button (slap a fee on it or have it cost a gem for each stat exchange no chance of breaking though and you have a smart drop system in place.

I find the randomness of the added stats to be fun, I have seen a +MC GreatAxe and it made me smile.

It is something we can look into but it will be added to to bottom of the long list that we already have

I think the rare added or slotted item rate is good as it is now.. Most high level people you'll find have atleast one or two slotted items. It's weird enough as it is seeing someone with level 15 gloves better than level 40 items

haha yeah, i know what you mean, It did make me smirk when the SC 1 Jmace popped up on the TM, after my smirk i thought ah the poor bstrd must be 1 of maybe 3 rare maces to have dropped all game and its got sc on it!

Its just food for thought, Im not sure its needed or worth a time investment as I know you have plenty on the long list already.

I'm not suggesting increased drop rates Harry, just smarter drops when they do drop or the ability to make them worthwhile.
I guess your right in that if more of the dropped ones were usable there would be more in circulation giving the impression of a higher drop rate as none of far fewer would end up in the shop.

It's just a cross your fingers and hope I think! I always get an mac+1 DC glove for example, or a 3 slotted copper ring it's just frustrating :D

haha yes frustrating but those items are not "pointless" so they wouldnt be exchangeable.
It would only be (by my suggestion nothing official, if it even ever did happen) Say a Coral Ring - any added stat aside from MC or SC would be final, if it was MC or SC it could be rerolled to DC only. giving the impression that no item will drop with a useless stat. they might still be pointless items to the majority of not all.
Its the later game items i'm thinking more about, you get a baek glove with mc+1 that's just harsh and imo shouldn't happen, i don't think it should be possible to populate with an stat that's not relevant for the said item.

anyways, id still like to see HP + items dropping as well =)

Chance for any stat would be good.
The replace a bad stat is very Diablo3, makes it much easier to get great items, that on mir would be bad in my opinion.
