Hey all,

I am going to start creating a server really soon and am just wondering what version to have it. As you can see i have posted a poll and would like you to vote. However with every vote could you please give a reason why you chose that. Am thinking of 2.6 because it is more updated, however wrong minds because it also has bugs.

Thanks.

Well you could still work on them but im saying that the 2.6 files are not stable as of yet.

I suppose you could work on the 2.3 files and then transfer them to 2.6 when a stable release is ready. At the moment we have 2 sets of possible files (DM2 or phili) that are racing to become uptodate and stable, Phili being the favourite at the moment I believe.

my advice is to stay at 2.3 and update it with the phili server ( when will be ready )
why? because phili , is official , is more stable , and on him is working some ppl who know exactly what theyre doing xD

philli files are still at current state of 2.6 in terms of stability tho, as if the source code is public, any1 can hack it

unless he releases new secured binnaries w/o the source for them the philli files wont be stable

Maybe work on secure binnaries and only let trusted people have the new source, people who are actually going to keep developing the files.

Its a shame that it would have to come to that, but there's too many ****s around nowadays.

There's always going to be leaks though, sooner or later.

2.3 Although a bit behind. But the 2.6 is too immature inappropriate that is now most commonly used test. . . Ha ha really want to open to China and see? Translation Forum go facie Chinese engine? .

Nope. P1ss easy to do tbh. Files are easy to change into a different version if you ask me.
