I played it for 1 month, i didn't stop cause i hated the game, i stopped because the developers sck balls.
1. DirectX 10 doesn't even work
2. AoC will not use more than 2 processors (So with a Quad-Core you would lose half your PCs power)
3. AoC feeds off your graphical memory as well as your computer memory and processing memory (In other words, a major resource drainer), resulting in the game dropping at LEAST 20 FPS after 1-2 hours of game play
4. Developers are constantly making hidden updates to the game, which completely alter the way of PvP, as well as the updates they actually show which always unbalance the classes even more than they are now (e.g. Necro, ToS and Ranger are way over powered in higher levels)
5. Developers making alterations which slow down your progress of levelings (e.g. they made it so you can't attack for 10 seconds after you resurrect, this includes buffs and summons etc), this allows other players to kill you during this time, making it so you can't even mount a defense, heal yourself, use potions, you basically wait to die and according to the GM when you make a petition "This is not a problem for the GM's of Conan to resolve, it is your responsibility as a player to change instances if such a problem occurs"...lol
I can find you so many other problems with the game because of the developers, but i really can't be assed lol.
But tbh, this game has a LOT of potential and would be a brilliant game...IF they had better developers, as these guys clearly suck balls.
