hiya i need serouse help l8ly ive drew like 25 gr8 pics ( i ant shown u like samurai jack ect...) and there really gd but prob is i mite b gd at copying them off stuff but i cant actually draw my own char and make it look gd,,plz sum1 help and give me tips ect..i really need help, i kno sum ppl r ganna say u need 2 b talented it ant true if u get at it ull avently become gd plz help

if i wanted to creat a character first of all what are you drawing

E.g say you want to draw a female char for a fantasy game

what do u want do you want her to be sexy dark and mysterious or cute happy nd bouncy

Yep sounds good to me here are some tips for you...when you start going to School in about 5 years time you will learn in a class called ART (might be diff name now - left a long time ago) how to draw and later on when you leave the said school you can go to a thing called Collage or Uni and take up Drawing from there as well as maybe english - does come in handy now and then. There is also a place you can go to that will show you how to stop typing and speaking to people as if you were using a Mobile phone and saying things like LOL instead of really laughing and stuff..

Ni problems dude, Im crap at drawing anyhow myself - so kinda pointless me giving you any tips like but there is books you can buy (ooh bad word) and I guess practice helps too.

Keep it simple. Always look at what you've drawn as a whole to heck proportions.

magma is one of the easiest and simple objects to do , my oppinion is keep working on it until you perfect it.Eg do only heads , eyes etc and do them different eg , angry , smily confused etc.

Btw - if you want to start making your own caracters what i do is , look at dragonball z , then look at another game and combine the two to make one and as far as im concerd that my own caracter.

pens smudge, gets annoyin when ur drawin and u acidently put ur arm on the part where u have just done a pen line -_- best thing is do it in pencil then when your sure its 100% then go around it in pen

Drawing dont have to be detailed :O All depends on what style you want your character to be drawn in.

3) Cant shade with a pen.
4) Drawings done in pen allways look crap.

basicly what im saying is no sane person who can draw or wants to draw properly uses a pen, its stupid, and is a waste of paper/time/effort/brain cells (well if you use a pen you probally dont use these ne way).

am i actually ganna get eny tips here lol? but talking about pens ive drew a couple of my own chars they look pretty gd but ive also just drew there bodys and arms and the body looks good but the arms really look retarted and i need learn how do cloths on a char cus all my ppl ive drawn have nothing on ill post pic in sec

1) Actually it doesn't really, unless you're crap
2) If you're good you don't really need to erase.
3) Yea you can, expecially with a biro. Even a fountain pen is ok.
