its done using sendmsg armen have run recreating the system remember every hour on the dot with ingame notifications dont say we never gave you anything anything else u cant do and want to say is fake?

ledu can ***** rescorces depending whats happning onscreen at 1 time correct me if im wrong. the DAO team are making a massive very distinct server with future upgradeability to keep every happy and make it last.

so if your client lags, its down to not having enough power (or even decent quality hardware) to process the information at speed. so thats your problem, not the server makers

And Dan @! doesnt normally send the GM name thats a feature that can be turned on and off using !setup.txt

When i tested it sent the username without the [gm] . if im wrong so be it

Well DAO is new kind of Mir in a way, as in not a copy of some1 elses files lol. E.g AlphaFrozen files were used over and over again, just changed in many ways but still the basic layout.

Like Insomnia, same basics as Alpha, but just quite a bit different stuff :P

DAO is made from scratch and not like any others is what it means :P

the server will probs have about 30-40 players at least to start, and depending if they like it or not will b the user count from there on. just because ppl dont post it dont mean tht ppl dont read this thread or arnt going to try the game out, and bcoz of the amount of time tht its taking to complete, it will probably b gd and the server will become popular. as long as ppl like the game.

it may be a good server, it may not, who knows, they havnt given us much detail on wot the stats r gonna be like so its hard to tell, just have to w8 untill we get ingame to find out (if that ever happens )

like i said dependin on how good it actually is, ye prob could have a high user count, but i dont think it will have as many as wot it woulda had about 6months ago when it was meant to have gone up. back then the thread was gettin 30pages in a few days and havin to be constantly wiped, now the thread hardly gets replys. i think most have given up hope and moved onto another server. for example the 30-80 odd users that play ragezone was probably all gonna play this, but tbh if uve spent a good few months lvlin and gettin items on ragezone, ur prob not gonna just quit it and move onto destinyao

personaly i think its because people get sick of same s*** different day. not too much thought and consideration goes into the servers, so when they run into problems and people leave they just close the server.

sometimes people demmand too much from server makers, every little detail they ***** about because it dont suite them, so the maker gets bombarded right from the start and leads to a negitive attitude.

i think that gilga and chris are doing the right think, taking time to get the basis of things just right.

id laugh if it turned out to be a crap server when peeps hav been waiting all this time to play it. lol its stupid that they got rid of Alpha omega v1 out of it probly about 2-3 months of work gone
