Alt Tabbing out of mir

when i alt tab out of mir and try to go back all my colours messed up and the only way to get back is to restart the game.

any one got any ideas?

Rubbish pc?? try just useing the Windows key / Start Menu key ..

i think thats a common fault with mir2, i had the same thing on some occasions. try deleting the exe and putting a fresh one in.

no, its to do with ur mir folder, if u keep it up it will happen, i forgott how i fixed mine. but i think i just closed mir folder before i logged on.

Doesn't Mir run in 640*480? Or 800*600?

I can't remember, haven't played in years.

However, try changing your desktop resoloution to the same as what your Mir runs at?

I remember doing that to mine and it working... I think.

happens when your screen does not update correctly to the right resolution, usually in a public area, best to do it where ur in an area with no movement.

Lmao, ur all pretty silly. just do what Urban said, just keep minimizing and resizing, till its normal

had this loads of times, even when nothings opened, no folders or owt. Just a geenral problem i guess.

Hey, we're all just trying to help. We all know Urban knows the most about computer technology on here, but that still doesn't mean our opinions aren't valid. You never know, one of us might come up with a fix to the problem rather then a repetative solution.

I don't know it all and my biggest recommendation is not an answer but for anyone who has an idea for a fix to a problem to post it.

tbh, i said wot i said because if there was a fix wudnt urban have said so? and also what urban said works, so just do that. Me telling you to do what urban said purly wasnt because he is good with computers. As i know he hasnt played Mir as much as alot on these forums, also the fact that iv had it ALOT and doing it over and over works and fixes it, usualy on the 2nd try.

And also, the chances of a permanent fix for everyone would be very unlikely, as i believe its just a generaly graphical thing. Believe iv had it on a other game befor (cant remmeebr the other game sorry) but it may be to do with mir graphics used?

Unlikely, but you don't get anywhere without trying.

such as how do we know we havnt evolved through the years and we can now breath different gases then oxygen from other planets? should we just try because it ''Might'' be possible but unlikely?

might be a big difference in situations as there is, but its the still the same concept.

and as i believe we dont really need a perminant fix, if we have time to minimize, we usualy have time to do another minimise to fix whats changed, not asif were gona be in a fight area and going to die because of one more minimise is it?
