So yer.... i mean it might just be me but i'm not short a pound or two on here and having to slave away just to buy a shiny new ring like i did on euro mir and i'm happy for it but here is the issue i can't buy the things i want.

i have yet to see or hear of anyone selling a level 30+ weapon besides two SBF which by all accounts in my mind cheap, but here is the thing there are very few higher end weapons about and some spell books seem almost none exsistant now don't get me wrong i know its good that rare items are rare and all but i'm sure i'm not the only one sat on a pile of money i mean plat ore 12+ sells for more then most items that drop off a boss and i know which is harder to get my hands on.

So am i just kinda missing the point and alone on this or are others comming to the conclusion that money does not really seem to be all the talk atm?

The problem is that in a server 8x exp, drop rate should also be increased.
Because the Dragon Server was calibrated for 1x exp so, at this time, we would have 2 "DragonSlayerSword" and 3 leves 40+ warriors not 30!!!
Same for taos and wizzy.
Each rare here is 8 times more rare than the Dragon Server.

Bare in mind this has barely been online for a month though.
Euro was around for a while with thousands of people hunting constantly, which probbably the reason why prices were lower

you dont see many items such as weapons come up for sale, as most are passed down through guild members.

plat is ridiculously high due to how mining has become uneventful.

As others have said, the server is like most private servers, and people help each other out.

DragonServer was more self based, too many selfish people who'd get a good drop like DragonSlayer on a guild hunt and would rather sell it and split between members rather than just give it away to a member.

Yup agreed D server if you weren't one of the favourites you'd be paying over the odds for kit. And soon enough when more items drop and more guilds are made there will be demand it just takes time the server is not very old. Also there are alot of people wanting wsb's FF etc and I bet they would pay a decent amount for them too.

I agree. To a certain extent the gold to items worth buying ratio is sufficiently unbalanced. Simple solution is to up drop rates, or to more likely, lower the ammount of gold that drops.

Wrong. On DragonServer weapons like DSS were given out to guild members...for free...in times when most people only dream having one. the guild name: FoH.

Sound points and i'd agree to a degree but in regards to that statment a higher damn would result in a bidding war in most instances (remeber the new skills on euro mir? first copys going for 100mil first born.) but this seems to be by passed as gold is not as important as items. i'd have more luck swaping say a War Spirit Blade for a Magic Scythe then i would just out rightly buying a magic scythe imo.

The idea of guilds handing down items is fine but not what i'm getting at, its the fact that gold seems to have little to no value, let me put it another way so you might get what i mean.

A tao gets lion roar drop for him solo, its no use to him but he wants poison cloud.
A wiz has poison cloud drop but wants mirroring
A war has mirroring drop but wants lion roar

and some random with 200mil gold wants to buy one of these skills.

right now because of how usless gold is and how the damn for skills is high the 3 would swap books between them to get the one they wanted the guy with the gold would not get a look in, chance's are even if a book comes up it would get sold due to holding it for swaping. actual items have more value in game then gold does imo at this time and i can't see it changing as like was said on euro mir we had lots of people grinding which ment lots of rare drops from just crap mobs but we don't have that here and i think that is the issue.

I reckon that will improve though. The server is fairly new at the moment so you have a large burst of people joining and getting to levels where they need this gear. Over time this will change, as both the usercount stabilises and the number of people requiring these items decreases. Once people (and their guilds) have most of the basic stuff they need (decent weapon, all skills), I think they will be more willing to sell rare stuff that they personally don't need. At this point I would imagine a market where prices are particularly high, as it does seem a lot of money drops from just levelling and killing normal mobs.

The server is young. And that's right about the server being x8exp... but the drop being x1 rate.

If you think about it some of the drop files for weps are like 1/50,000,000. I don't even think there has been 50,000,000 zt/wt/mtk/bl/ec/rmv/dd/yimi/foxboss spawned yet.... maybe in a few months we iwll be getting good drop rates.

Drop rate is x3, as listed on the server advertisement page. Seems there is a fair amount of kit floating about, it's early days and I'm sure things will become more available. I'd rather things were rare than everyone had one.
