Regarding your poor and our poor. We have a benefit system (ok ppl abuse it) but the government pays there houses gives them money etc. If they havent much money they get free dental and free pharmacy prescriptions. Ppl tyhat work on low wages can get help with nursery care and top ups on wages. Although they maybe get too much help at least we provide all this..and to many hundreds of thousands of foriegners too for that matter.

The amount of self loving literature in American culture is assumed by many to be an indication that America's population deep down feel bad about their country.

Maybe these stupid laws like "windows cant parachute on a sunday" and "whale hunting is illegal in that place where theres no whales" are the to prevent people looking stupid.

Personally im going to court to try and make it illegal for windows to parachute on any day except Boxing day.

Also, with reference to Micheal Jackson. Its only a matter of time till he goes down, innocent or not. The jackson trials are now more about reputation than justice as the prosecutor (forgot his name) launches case after case after case. Some say its beucase he so sure of Micheal Jacksons guilt, personally, i think its just becuase he's lost time after time and a singl conviction would wipe his slate clean as people then would remember him as the guy who sent micheal jackson down.

On the subject of american films and games being the most popular, who cares really we all speak english so we enjoy them just as much as the americans, i'd only be gutted if the indian or chinese industries were the best and we coudln't use them.

Lady, if there are two sports that America just completely owns in, it's baseball and American football.

We own so much in baseball they put the lesser version 'softball' in the olympics for the ladies to duke it out and they won't ever think about putting American football in because we would litterally kill any other country.
