amulet/poison on 0!

im not sure if this has been posted before but its a pain in the ass. its almost like the poison/amulet is worn down when you take hits.
tonight i was told my green poison was now on 0, when i hadnt used it, i was struck by a mob while stood chatting.

I've run through bdd with my char open looking at dura in mass spawns and they never shift! Then as soon as I'm not looking they suddenly hit 0.

i had this happen with arrows in numa yday,was runnin around gathering mobs wen my arrows dura dropped to 0 (i wasnt firing any!)
