Well Flash is the best that I no of (get from kazaa or suprnova.org or pay for a legal version), but if you want a simple version, use swish max.

Poser is far too complex for him, costs too much and takes a gret amount of time to learn all the functions and get full potential out of the program, plus I think he is talking about making his own images (2D) into a cartoon, the poser defualt skins are hardly right for a cartoon setting.

downloads probably better, but only 30 day free trial. the 1s from voodoo add stupid things to ur image saying the name of the program.

Image ready is the most powerful animation program i have ever used. If you learn more than the basics you can make the most amazeing bloody animations. Ill try find this tutorial i saw the other day, it really shows just how powerfull it is.

I'm pretty sure you can get an animation attachment. I had one back in my Win98 days.
