Another Logon Problem

for the first time in my mir career i am able to get a server online.
but.
when i start it up. and then go to another computer.
i get to the logon screen.
log on as normal. but the doors do not open.
i've checked the server name re did everything
but to no luck it wont let me in.
i am on a Lan but the files are on the computer with a direct internet connection.

any help would be greatly appreciated

all i got was wrong server names n that.

Make sure you have no spaces or lines in front or behind the server name and note that the server name is case sensitive.

Else re-install the server files on the host PC.

trust me i know enuff about servers i've jus never had one online before.
at the mo i have 2 comps networked together. but the computer with the net going to it directly has the files on it and everything. and this comp to play it
now as stated above it connects fine till it gets to the gates. and
the host computer has no firewall or anything (unless ME has one in it)
