not a pointless thread i have made a client side anti cheat need to know if someone wants it

Client side 60% done

Server side 10% done

Seems like a really nice idea, I dont personaly play mir3 neither do i know about cheating situations but if there are cheats then this really is a great idea, Something server owners should dream of having.

i have the client side running but not really started on server just been messing around with some of the code for it

i can show this working and preventing the DBT cheat tool

wont go too far into how it works

Can you post a list of what it actually prevents from working, as there is a lot more cheats out there for Mir3 other than the speedhack parahack and DBT.

That sounds pretty decent to be honest, Crack on with it chap maybe have a donate button on the app for server owners to donate to you for all your hard work.

Will be great to put this through some testing as well on a live server.

as i said its about 60% done on the client side

i will start some of the server side when im further into the build

i have built in my own encryption so would need to haxers to test that out there isnt much on the communication side between server and client to limit it being emulated

it takes a few details of the person's computer

i will be doing little bits to the Server side just to keep both up and together

what sort of server side protection do people want?

Ok added a few things to Server side like a News browser
an update button for future releases

sure well when im getting towards the end i will send out a beta test to all server admins but not to be released to the public

Update

Will make a website for all Server Admin's to connect to and view cheating players, Id will be from a mix of there computer info's

there will be an alert come up on your system saying cheater connected plus date and time stamp but might change this to a scrollable window within the server side application

the client side anticheat will tie into the launcher and Mir 3 Dll

im not gonna go into how it does it as will just give the game away, but lets just say you have to use it or u wont be able to connect to the server
