Having resigned myself to the fact Magic Booster is never going to get nerfed (currently OP). I am putting forward a suggestion of having anti magic work against the likes of Blizzard / Met Strike and Flame field. This will atleast give other classes the option of wearing anti magic to absorb some of the damage dealt by OP wizards.

I believe this will be a fair outcome as wizards are not going to cry if MB is nerfed, and normal players have a chance of combatting such ridiculous amounts MC they get from magic booster.

Thoughts?

(Official response would be appreciated).

luck 7 should be 70% chance max hit and they IF u wear heaven Armour luck8 should be 80% and that should be that, even in mir 3 u needed luck9 to hit max err time

I think the previous suggestion along these lines came back with a "it doesn't effect AOE spells because then certain bosses would be a lot easier as they use aoe"
don't remember if that was a staff reply or a random players presumption.

I 100% agree that players should be able to dodge all types of attacks, currently its only wiz that cant be dodged.

Flamesword is also a magic attack, maybe should be avoid by Anti magic too.


Yes I agree that anti magic should work against all magic but it should be capped

Not quite, when you wear defensive gear, such as AC and Agil, you don't hit 100%. Therefor damage is weakened and avoided.

Why shouldn't it hit 100%? Luck 10 for 100% is all in your head. You could make luck5 hit maximum, if you wanted to design the game in this way.

just saying in mir 3 you have a 10% lucky roll on max hit
each +1 luck added another 10% towards that.

And i'm sure in mir3 you had luck2/3 necklaces, as well as heaven armours and a 10% base stat? At least, Mir2 euro had all of these giving chance to get max hits.

Archers were apparently going to become MC, which would have made sense, but it's probaly too late for that now.

Would be better if there were
Dodge - for Melee attacks
Avoid - for physical projectiles
Magic Evade - For Magic -
Poison Evade - for.. Poison
It would offer a much more diverse defensive/kitting/build/pvp option and probably make people carry more loot in their bags for quick changes = bigger pops =)
just in an ideal world anyway. not suggesting this should be implemented. too much work =)

There is NO defensive stat to absorb wizard damage from top end spells as mentioned in OP.

Warriors and Sins are countered with Agility.

Taos do no real damage.

Archers are a DC/Single Target class and should be countered with Agility.

Wizards are a MAGIC CLASS - hence MC... They should be countered with MR - MAGIC RESISTANCE - resistance to the aforementioned use of MAGIC.

I mean seriously, it's so simple even Witners would understand it.
