The Matrix!!
Me and my mate discovered something interesting regarding anti virus software the other day!!! Hed been having some problems with AVG deleting all his MIR exe's saying they had the themida virus lol, so i said try Nod32 as most of my gaming mates swear by it!

He downloaded the trial version and installed it and ran a scan and it didnt pick anything up!! So he thought hed pay for a full version. So after paying and installing the license key he did another scan and it picked up several instances the free one didnt!

So i guess the moral is, free is free for a reason, its crap, doesnt do a proper job as they obv want you to buy the pro version.

AVG 8 had a similar experience on my sons PC, he had the free version installed but picked up so much more when i upped my lisence so i could put the pro version on his aswell. So people who use the free versions beleiveing they are covered, quite clearly are not even slightly.

Just food for thought really. Never tried one care, but nod32 and avg are well worth a look!! Some people reccomend kaspersky... just never use norton lol!!

Just don't download crap and use AVG Free.

Make sure you've got a firewall running too.

If you download from Kazaa or any of those other p2p apps that are full of crap then your going to get viruses.

I agree with Farril. Windows OneCare is awesome. I even paid for it for a year it's that good. It's just...everything you could need in one <3
