any help please with download

hi bought new laptop other day and downloaded the game was fine had a small windows update then connected to game played it for a few seconds and it went off and seems to have deleted the icons you click to connect to the game in the program files I have them all data and all those but no icon to connect to the game so I tried to redownload it from your main page the chroniclesinstaller.exe that downloads but when I click it a blue bar comes across my screen saying this app cant run on your pc , any ideas what I need to do alli seem to find on the web Is about operating system and if its not he same as my laptop it wont work this laptop isa 64 bit

Disable you virus scanner and run the patch program

You'd be better off uploading a screenshot of the message or describing it better bud.

You do not need to run the installer from the main site again, the game is already installed.

You need to turn off mcafee and run the chronicles patch exe file as admin and this will download the missing files

Unzip the patch program from the above link, add the files to your chronicles folder, run the patch exe as admin

You also may need to install .NET Framework (links are in the stickies at the top of the forum or just google it)
It's a new system so it prob missing it

Best thing to do is add your mir folder to your exceptions other wise you will have to disable every time you download.

Best thing to do is add your mir folder to your exceptions other wise you will have to disable every time you download.

It doesn't work for the majority of anti viruses anymore, you have to disable them.
