Any of you play Far Cry?

it's a pretty descent game with some nice graphics, picked it up at a lan party. multiplayer is pretty fun.

c'mon even game magazines that reviewed it say you need a beast of a machine to play it, what are it's specs to run smoothly with nice graphics? bet it costs a bomb

says it only requires 1ghz, i was gonna buy it but i didnt know if it was gonna be a point and shoot game, or a game that actually requires tactics.

cpu matters, but in this game its all about the video card.

there is no such thing as 3.2ghz ram... when he said 3.2ghz he meant his pentium 4 revision c cpu. and a nice video card costs $450 us dollars... a nice cpu costs only $200.

i figured that out becus i know my crap (for better use of a cuss word) about comps. that and thats the only 3.2ghz cpu out right now.

no he didnt. he said he he was running 3.2ghz atm, he didnt say ram. and if ui want to play farcry, i wouldnt recommend anything below:

p4 1.5ghz
512mb ram
geforce 4 ti 4200

this game loves ram, if u dont got 1gb it will sometimes be choppy even with good fps. if u want to play it with all the settings etc, i would say p4 2.8ghz, 1gb ram, radeon 9800pro at thge lest

ye i played it on m8s pc i not sure of specs but i know its over 1ghz cpu 512 mg ram and geforce 2 mx one and it runs fine on top graphics and that no jerk at all

u should get descent framerate at pretty good settings, but it might stutter every now and then becus u only got 512mb of ram. this game loves 1gb and needs it. i can run a top notch system at high settings getting 60+ fps but i still get stutters sometimes with only 512mb of ram, becus it uses ur swap file for the extra on the hdd.

bull**** it does. to run on high quality everything u need a top notch kickass pc with 1gb+ of ram etc etc
