for some reason the mir client seems to think your graphic card driver is vga.dll (which is windows's backup driver if it doesnt have a real one)

To continue from here.... You haven't even got your graphics driver installed, how can you expect to play a game with no graphics driver?

- Right click on your "Other devices" anything with a yellow question mark next to them.
- Update Drivers.
- Follow instructions...

Once windows has installed drivers, you should be able to play, if not then ensure your direct x is up to date...

check to ensure that your card supports direct 3d, also if your running this threw a virtual machine you will need to enable the d3d option on that machine this will be under the settings

Click on "My Computer" and then right click your C drive. Click on "Properties" and go to "Hardware" tab. look for the graphics card, then double click this. Then click on "Driver" and select the "Update Driver". Then lastly click "search automatically".

Shiest.. you ask a Mir community for their help and all u get is flamed???? Shiest. When someone asks them for help, help them. Don't just say things like "You haven't even got your graphics driver installed, how can you expect to play a game with no graphics driver?". This isn't very helpful.

Anyways. Good luck with finding it mate. Let us know if you have any other trouble. We will soon get you on.

WTF is this mir 3D ??

my virtual win7 machine when it starts on Mac says that the host doesn't support 3D and that those features will be disabled in the guest OS...

does that mean I won't be able to play acemir? I didn't try yet, want to get it all setup and make snapshot and only then put mir and other personal stuff on it.

In win7 VM it says in Display adapters: 'VMvare SVGA 3D'

He got it wrong, you got to right click Computer and select properties, then on left side click on Device Manager, there then open Display adapters... however updating drivers usually is not that simple as simply updating them, best if you get somebody who know about these things or google it and read up. Basically you need to download the driver yourself, then in Device Manager select update driver, then forget about windows finding you anything, you need to go the manual way and finally you get offered to browse to your drivers (option 'Have Disk')

The driver you downloaded has to be unwrapped (unrared) beforehand but don't run it yourself, let the device manager do the job as per instructions above - just browse to it (after you clicked Have Disk) and select one of the .inf files and then click ok and see if it will do some installing, if it does its ok, otherwise repeat and select different .inf file (some drivers have several included but usually only one works.:'(
