Ok, my PC decided to commit suicide on me 2 days ago and I was forced to by a new one. I have read a large variety of reviews and it seems to be an excellent piece of equipment thus far but was after some actual first hand experience if possible please.

http://www.brighthouse.co.uk/computing/acer-touchscreen-23/

Thanks in advance.

I personally would never buy a touchscreen pc, also i think you could get a way better machine for that amount of money.
8GB DDR3 ftw :D
It has some nice shizzle on it tough.
Just my own vision :)

Totally don't see the point in buying a touchscreen pc yet. Spend your money more wisely.

don't see the point in it unless you draw tbh. reaching/moving your hands around a screen is never going to be as intuitive as a mouse or pen.

obviously it will have its use's, but other than that its just a fad, which is yet to have any significant use on a pc other than in the art world.

As Sanity said, keep away from Brighthouse, they do have a massive mark up on products that are relitiverly cheap in todays market.

If you can't afford one and are using brighthouse for their minimum monthly payment then I suggest you shop around an see which stores offer financial services, most stores such as pcworld/Argos should offer Store Cards where no interest is added and you have upto 12months to pay it off.

Alot better then Brighthouse.

Iv droole dover this computer a few times but yeah i would never buy it from brighthouse, they whack up the price before they even add the intrest on, if u look through ebay etc u will see them for at LEAST half price, so they may say its 40% intrest but thats with an already 60% mark up of other places.
Its weird to say it but your actually better off borrowing money from soemthing like provident and buying it as i think they charge around 50% intrest, but even still you should buy a low spec computer because you obviously cant afford it lol, stop living beyond your means :P

Crazy though how the rich get there loans for like 6% intrest and the poor get there loans for 40% lol, fked up world we live in

Yeah I know that it is over priced, to be fair, I can't afford a one off payment. The touchscreen I honestly aint bothered about really, just a novelty in my eyes. I will probably mess about with it as most guys would lol but at the end of the day it's just a PC to me. A really overpriced, but decent(ish) spec PC. Beggars can't be choosers. It's due for delivery today, can't wait =)

Thanks for input guys although, all I got from this is advice on my finances lmao!

Should have just gone to Aria.co.uk, used their finance and built your own PC.

Owch.... these things are awfull i have worked on a few of them. ( as in repairing its what i do) one of the Major downsides is hardly any scope for upgradeability and cramped conditions leads to bad airflow and underload they get a wee bit to hot sometimes .At arround half that price i could build you something with much better specs. And Brighthouse......No No No NO!

I never asked about where I should buy it from lol. I know it's expensive and I know it's over priced. I only asked for feedback of the PC itself. It has arrived now and I am using it. I was expecting the touchscreen to be somewhat laggy but it's actually amazingly responsive. It's also better looking than what I had imagined it to be also which is nice. Very happy with it so far.

No offence, but when talking about PC's, it all comes down to the cost, and what you're getting for it.

Hence why people have given you other options of where and what to buy.

Yes but read my post. I'm not asking for advice, I simply asked for "first hand experience" of anyone who may have used this PC. I do appreciate all the responses though, don't get me wrong. If anything you have depressed me massively about how much money I have wasted! Thanks! Hehe.
