We have plans to take it away from the original. And is on our list of final touch ups. However i cannot confirm what as of yet.

will be interesting to see how your servers plans for sabuk progress...

I found 3 files the other day that I had not seen before regarding sabuk and I was thinking of ideas how to use those files... wonder if your plans are along a similar path hehe

actually a couple of my idea are a bit ambitious... I may do a small test see how it goes

It will be interesting to the extent at what we can achieve, but at the same time it must remain realistic to the game :)

problem for me is when you release the server I will be playing the game again so my ideas will stay on the drawing board >.< mir is too addictive lol

I have a couple of mir projects I think people would really like if I ever get around to making them work

i always thought if you died in there you should be locked out, end of, or even on a timer so you get say a 10 min lock out. i think it would make it a bit more tactical instead of balls to the wall rush in etc.

What about the reward for holding the wall will you be doing anything for this ? or just standard 10% of gold SW earns

You should make it like domination on call of duty, that way the war isnt 'hold up in castle bored for 50 minutes, fight for the last 10'

anyone who doesnt no what this means....

Your team capture the base, for every second they hold the base they get a point, if the enemy kills you and takes it back they get the points per second.

grand total is announced after X amount of time.

yeah I like that... could be a few points a minute for who holds the palace and maybe a flag outside that grants a few bonus points (per minute) for whoever holds the castle so if the defenders keep control of the flag the war is over quicker but if they lose the flag they have to defend the palace for a lot longer before the war is won

first to 1000 points I think would be much better than the set 1 hour with the 10 minute scramble at the end to see whos won

Awesome idea would take some clever scripting or coding.

the c# server code is fairly straighforward to edit so just a matter of counting how many friendly players are in range of the flags/palace areas and then keeping a counter ticking up during the war with the checks to see when people have taken over/ retaken/ or won and adjusting the counter /flag colours/ displays accordingly

Chronicles have a great idea for Sabuk, Delivery is the main issue. Its been months and still no sign of it.

Any server launching with a new "pvp" system will trump any with the old ones.
Hope you have some original ideas instead of FPS ripoff ideas though. not that the fps rip offs are bad. I just like fresh.

Everything in this thread is x from call of duty.

Theres not many fresh ideas for multiplayer fights left these days. Especially ones involving an 'area of importance' like the wall.
