Still no one realizes why I made this post with the title. lol. I honestly don't mind waiting a few days to get all my skills a whole lot cheaper. My beef is just the sudden increase after having what we were expecting to be set(sorta) drops. I spent 20mins in pt and got gaxe and deathly aim. So far in last few hours done OK/BDD clear/AQ/EC/RME and best drop was a dring. Guess its worth the near 200k in pots i spent. If i'd lost the roll then deff not.

Stop trying.
The people here think mobs should be dropping more than bosses.

Give spells on level up, yes I shall keep repeating this for no reason :)

Because it makes logical sense, no other MMORPG makes spells depend on " chance" you pick a class and you get to use all the spells, why the hell would you make someone play a wizard for 4 years without all its spells? not really playing a wizard are you?...

No-one listens to logic on here though.

Exactly, I'm wondering if some of the Mir players have actually played any other MMORPG beyond Mir.

It's about time Mir had a change from it's way back in euro and became the much better advanced version it could be.

You made the thread to blame Apex and all the whiners (in that guild im guessing) for the increase in items you have been taking time off work to obtain? I read these forums a fair bit and I don't think I've seen any Apex member moaning about drops. Damage caused by certain classes skills yes :@: but not about drops.

I think they have upped the droprate on spells and semi rares because people were starting to give up, yes there might be a UC of 500+ but in all honestly, who wants to be lvl40+ wearing shop kit and quest items? I appreciate some people have 'worked' hard for their items farming bosses etc, but I believe the staff are preparing the population for the next patch. They are probably aware that to hunt newer areas successfully, people will need all their spells to 35 at least, they will also need to be dealing out greater damage. All I have seen them do is basically ensure the spells to 35/38 are in place, and that items have gone up one notch to become the regular kit, kinda like corals moving to drings, gaxe to mace. It would be different if lvl 40+ stuff had all been dropping but it hasn't, this is why I believe the staff are ensuring the population is ready for the next patch.

That's true.

There is plenty to get from bosses that normal mobs wont drop, just have to be very ignorant to not think of that. The tweaks and adjustments server team makes on the fly isn't something new and something that I have agreed with in the past but can get used to it eventually.

Said it once already.
AM delighted that the geek it at the start of the server and be 5-10 levels above everyone else people aren't going to have it all their own way on this server for a change. (Sorry cheese but I hated it that when I was busy I couldn't compete)
Don't kid yourself mystic. Many people can 2man DD ZT most don't bother because you cant win a fight with 2 people. Unless its harder to get to the boss like OK.
People been playing this game for at least 10 years. All the tactics and skills are known to at least 60% of the players.

Whats MIr without pvp? USA official mir, Mir2 forever and mir3 global. All discouraged pk but were fights at bosses All lasted a few years.

PS why did you fix the trapdoor? I thought that was a great addition

I actually fully agree with this, Whilst getting spells has always been a part of mir, you are correct in that your not really playing your class until you have all your spells.

The server's not been up long enough for players to bemoan not having skills, surely. Although counter to that argument, if you're lvl 45 already, days = months etc.

Why stop there ? Why not put everything in the shops and do away with any resemblance of challenge ?

A couple of months, lvl 50, all the spells, all the kit ..... then what ? All that remains is pvp, which would be mostly town based, as what's the point in hunting.

You may wait for new areas to hunt and 3 *new items* to be introduced every so many weeks - but you kill those areas, get all your stuffz, then you're bored again. Back to town pvp til the next patch... we've seen all this before, and it sounds like the WOW template to me, which killed mmorpg imo.

There was always a small chance of having a drop like FlameField from FireMinotaur or FigveStringBrace from CursedShaman. That can be one motivation for grinding.

Handing out skills like Deva so easly I don't agree with but having some skills and items in drops with a rare or super rare % isn't bad. Anyway even if they make all the skills common is NP, plenty of other stuff to hunt for anyway.

This server went from an extreme to another (where you had no book drop whatsover even if you killed a million minos still no UE drop for example, while now....).

But this is mir. Either you want getting the bosses to be a good place for a fight or you want it all handed to you for no effort. Which?

I feel your pain. But clearly people wanted the drops increased. IS it that you want to fight for drops?

You been to the same old bosses you have done for 10 years. Did you always get something good every time you went in 10 years? I recall doing almost every ZT during daylight hours for months on euro and in that time we had more rubbish drops than decent ones.

Tell you what, if you want to see more guilds going bosses and more fights why not post the maze routes and tell everyone the best way to get to them all? or put your ingame name and let ppl pm you for advice

Everything happens too quickly. Game is too quick, events that happen are too quick, reactions are too quick, players come and go too quickly, servers come and go too quickly.

I'd rather read this forum next year and see Chronicles still in full flight, but I don't see it. Players will be lvl 2000, all kit will be used, all maps visited and mobs will be so badly hyped up to adjust to the players, that you'd have to do something about getting players to lvl 1000 quickly.

GTFO!

The amount of items/content available and still being released on the ko official servers, can sustain this server to survive for years.

The only way it will go down the pan is if the player count reduces, which will happen over time anyway.

Indeed, new stuff has been coming out for just over a decade, and how'd that work out for server longevity ?

This all depends on how they integrate these items into the game... they seem smart, i trust they already have several plans up their sleeves.
